Day 01
Kandy
Once you're in Colombo take a driver and tour guide and continue traveling throughout Sri Lanka. You might be taken to Kandy the hilltop capital of the former monarchy of Sri Lanka. Stop by the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on your way to Kandy it provides care for sick and abandoned elephants. Every now and then one can spot an elephant swimming in the river. Travel to Kandy making a stop along the way at a naturally occurring lawn used for Ayurvedic purposes.
Day 02
Kandy
This day after waking up in the heart of Kandy relax at your lodging. When on your Kandy city tour you will see the Royal Botanical Garden and Sri Dalanda Maligawa popularly known as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. In the evening there is a Kandyan fire dance show.
Day 03
Nuwara Eliya
On the third day of travel, you will go straight to Nuwara Eliya also known as Little England. To reach the summit of Ambuluwawa at the Biodiversity Complex you will hike through the forest. If you would like you can also partake in Kitulgala White Water Rafting (optional). Included in your schedules are a tea plantation a manufacturing facility and the Ramboda waterfall. Throughout the world, for over a century, Sri Lanka known for its Ceylon tea has brought happiness to people. Nuwara Eliyas welcomes you with its cold air and colonial ambiance of cottage-style homes.
Day 04
Nuwara Eliya
You have the option of lounging around the hotel or visiting Horton Plain National Park in the mornings. One of Sri Lanka's most stunning World Heritage Sites is Horton Plains which you should see while you are there. In addition, visitors can take a boat safari at Gregory Lake or play golf on the 18-hole Nuwara Eliya Golf Club course.
Day 05
Yala
On day five rise early and depart for Yala a region renowned for its populations of leopards and elephants. Viewing almost every kind of animal that calls this wildlife park home makes it one of the most well-liked in Sri Lanka. You will make stops at Ella City and the Ravana waterfall en route to Yala. You will also take a Jeep safari in Yala National Park in the afternoon.
Day 06
Hikkaduwa
Either Bentota Beach or Hikkaduwa will be your destination in the afternoon. You can snap some stunning pictures of a stilt fisherman by quickly scanning the wreck. The Sea Turtle Hatchery project and the Galle Dutch fortress which was first built by the Portuguese in the sixteenth century and then reconstructed in the seventeenth century during the Dutch Colonial era are also located there. Currently recognized as a UNESCO World Historical Site in Sri Lanka the Galle Dutch fortress is the best fortification built in Asia by European occupiers.
Day 07 | 08
Hikkaduwa
Throughout these two days, you are welcome to participate in beach activities! You may also be open to diving snorkeling and taking in the scenery.
Day 09
Departure
You will then leave and bid farewell to your vacation!
